nigelkili Posted September 1, 2010 ID:308020 Share Posted September 1, 2010 Dell desktop Pc will not boot normallyCannot start in safe modeCannot start in debug modeCant start in last known configurationEach of the above options never gets as far as the desktop, and restarts itself each timeTried running chkdsk from the microsoft recovery consoleTried doing a Windows XP repair - but still the sameRan Fixboot - no luckHave not run Fixmbr yet - all the evidence suggests dataloss is there is a virus - but I cant scan for a virus from the recovery console - can I ?
