MBAM crashing on scan

I've used MBAM quite happily on a range of desktops and laptops, but this is the first issue I've had with the program failing on a scan.

It fails on this file whenever I get to it through either a quickscan or a fullscan. I did not have any other form of security utility running at the time I made this scan. This is a fresh install on a netbook running Win7 32bit Home Premium.

Please click on the Settings tab and select Scanner Settings then uncheck the box next to Enable advanced heuristics engine. (Heuristics.Shuriken) and try the scan again.

Please let me know if the scan now completes or not.

The scan completed, thanks for the fix.

I'm kind of wondering why it would crash on that option, but I guess it's not too important at the moment.

There's currently a known issue that can cause this problem in certain situations. The developers are working on getting it corrected but the fix may not be implemented until version 1.47 of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware is released.
