Hello. Could somebody give me a list of recommended add-ons for firefox.i currently have WOT,NOSCRIPT,ADBLOCK PLUS,DR WEB AV.BETTER PRIVACY. are these adequate?? My browser is also under the protection of sandboxie although it seems to be working ok considering i have a 64-bit machine...Many thanks.

BetterPrivacy, to delete Flash cookies.

FWIW : I've also Browser Defender and Finjan installed, together with WOT (three know more than one and better safe than sorry ) and I don't think they slow down Firefox.

I still maintain that WOT cannot be trusted as it is rated by a community of users who often have no real knowledge of security. Way too much room for malicious ratings due to grudges against legitimate websites also. No real professionalism there.

I will stick to MBAM and Norton, MSE, etc.

I think that WOT has its uses, but I wouldn't use it as an add-on, personally. I do have the site bookmarked to check websites if I want to, though.

You might be right about Finjan but apparently BrowserDefender still seems to be working :

yep i looked for the finjan product on firefox and no luck.i shall consider the other option.Although admittedly i must agree that WOT does occasionally get it wrong.i use that plus the mbam ip blocker which does an excellent job but the results seem to be rather different to WOT.WOT says green and malwarebytes blocks it permanently.???i do like the way malwarebytes takes no prisoners in blocking.once your blocked your blocked for good lol!!.
