Jessica Posted June 23, 2010 ID:273019 Share Posted June 23, 2010 Hi,I am trying to rid my laptop of malware and I am following the instructions given here - http://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?showtopic=9573When I get to the instructional part of GMER Rootkit Scanner I do that. I have tried this twice. The first time my computer froze, but I think that is because I had other programs open. The 2nd time I did it at night before bed. I left it run for 10 hours and it still wasn't done scanning. I had to stop it again because I had to have my laptop to work.
