Update Problem

I receive the following message when I attempt to run an update to MalwareBytes:

MBAM_ERROR_UPDATING (122, 0, MultiByte ToWideChar)

The data area passed to a system call was too small.

Can you tell me what causes this error and what I can do to fix it?
