exile360 Posted January 2, 2010 ID:178558 Share Posted January 2, 2010 Greetings I see you already posted about this once, did noknojon's instructions not help?You can try the following to see if it solves the issue:Please run a Disk Check on your C: drive:Click Start and open My ComputerRight-click on C: and select PropertiesClick on the Tools tabUnder Error-checking click the Check Now... buttonMark the box next to Automatically fix file system errors and Scan for and attempt recovery of bad sectorsWhen the message box pops up, click the Schedule disk check button and restart your computerIf that does not fix it then please do the following to see if it does:Please exclude the following files from your antivirus:For Windows XP:C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exeC:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exeC:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exeC:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\rules.refC:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbam.sysC:\Windows\System32\drivers\mbamswissarmy.sysNote: If using a software firewall besides the built in Windows Firewall you'll need to exclude them from it as wellPlease let me know how it goes and if you're running a different operating system than Windows XP.Thanks Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
