GWC-1972 Posted May 15 ID:1636432 Share Posted May 15 Our online store, store.gatewestcoin.com , has been blocked today by Malwarebytes browser guard for insecure login. This is simply untrue. How can I get it removed? Why does this keep happening?? Link to post
GWC-1972 Posted May 15 Author ID:1636434 Share Posted May 15 Additionally, our subsidiary is also being blocked. The url is store.albern.com See attached screenshot for that site, using the same website code. Link to post
Staff BjelakovicL Posted May 15 Staff ID:1636435 Share Posted May 15 Hi, It's getting blocked because the site is using http instead of https. https://www.cloudflare.com/learning/ssl/why-is-http-not-secure/ Link to post

Once a customer wishes to place their order, they click on Login, and are taken to a page with https: for a secure login and checkout. Why should the site be blocked when no personal information is asked for or transmitted on a non-secure page?? Link to post
Staff Solution BjelakovicL Posted May 15 Staff Solution ID:1636438 Share Posted May 15 Thanks for the clarification. I was able to reproduce the block. The sites will be whitelisted. Link to post

Porthos Posted May 22 ID:1638024 Share Posted May 22 @GWC-1972 Please do the following. If you're having issues with Malwarebytes Browser Guard you may want to try to update the program manually. Click on the extension icon If you can not see the Browser Guard icon in the browser toolbar, click the puzzle icon and unhide or pin the icon. Click the Kebab Menu -> then Support Click the Check for database updates button If still having an issue then click Clear Browser Guard Storage, Restart the Browser, and check for Database Updates again Link to post
