Privacy VPN fails to connect to server

I've tried to uninstall, restart, re-install (enabling all permission requests in mac os security settings), restart.

I'm getting the error message, "Cannot connect to server, please try again." when trying to connect to any VPN server.

Mac details:

• Mac OS 14.4.1 (23E224)
• Chip Apple M1 Pro
