Malwarebytes detects but won't delete

Recommended Posts

Hello forum,

Malware bytes detects these two infected files, but only during a full scan and I am unable to open the preboot and minint folders to verify that the infected files are there. Malware bytes asks me to reboot to remove the two infected files, but a malware bytes scan after reboot shows these two files are still there. Below are copies of the Malware bytes scan and the HJT. Any help you can give me is greatly appreciated.

Thank you,

Carthage

Miekiemoes,

I did as you said and scanned again. The scan did not find either of the two false positives. Instead Malware bytes found and removed two different pieces of malware, but the two false positives were not found on the second scan. Thank you very much for your help.

My sincere thanks,

Carthage
