Search by POST ID number?

The goal is to search for a specific POST ID number because there are links or instructions within a comment which I'd like to revisit. A topic can include multiple pages with many comments; sorting through them & finding what I need, can be tough.

Is "following a topic" the only option available?

I know how to follow, unfollow, manage my followed content, add, remove etc. The result of copying and pasting a selected comment results in the appearance of the entire thread.

Bookmarking only goes so far. 

 

I realize that no software is perfect giving users their desired experience, have I missed something along the way?

Both return the same value. In the case of your post they show the following. If it was deeper into a thread it would show that and take you there.

@AdvancedSetup you showed me (again) I have a right-click blind spot. It just doesn't even occur to me.

I had the same problem setting up my wireless printer with Dave. And of course, in the beginning, zipping files. But I won't cry.

Instead, maybe I'll get a tattoo.

Right-Click on Windows is your friend. Mac has some functionality with right-click too just not as common
