why malwarebytes can't blocks malawre before download them and then right click analyze and delete

 

i tried the four files of  https://www.eicar.org/?page_id=3950

mbamlet me download it without alert me of anuthing

but i add mbam extension on chrome

what can i try or what update ca youbring to resolve it

it seem that windows defender block them directly.

I think in this case (fake malware file) the URL of EICAR was not added to black list by MB and allows to download it. The real time protection must catch the file on execution or by on demand scan.
