Stuck on loading screen

I noticed that my malwarbytes was not running. I tried to start it but it gets stuck at the loading screen every time. I tried rebooting my phone. I tried uninstalling the app and reinstalling. I still get stuck at the landing screen. 

Anyone have an idea how to fix this?

An update, still stuck on the loading screen. I noticed that the malwarebytes app updated yesterday to version 3.8.3.49. Among the listed updates is, "added feature to handle purchases via google playstore."

I don't have google playstore installed on this phone. In fact, I don't even have a Google account at all, I don't use Google. I wonder if it's hanging up waiting to contact the google play store?

Please help, my phone is unprotected until this is fixed.

Thanks for reaching out!

Google Play Store is needed in order to install our application fro Android. We do not provide an APK for download either. How did you have the app installed before it stopped working?

Thank you everyone for your advice. I initially installed this app a few years ago from Google play our family has since stopped using Google, we now update our apps (including Malwarebytes) from APKPure.

I will contact customer support.
