MB Privacy Outlook sync problem

Hi:

As of Tuesday (2020-08-04) I have been getting the attached sync problems with my sympatico email account (Bell Canada). My email client is Outlook. My other 2 accounts work perfectly. When I turn Malwarebytes Privacy off the Sympatico account works perfectly. I did try contacting Bell Canada support. They gave me the server configuration settings which I already had. Any suggestions would be welcome.

@jimbaker1 since other accounts in Outlook are working fine, this would tell us the most likely cause is that Bell Canada is blocking access to their email servers from certain IP addresses.

Have you tried switching to a few different servers in Malwarebytes Privacy to see if that helps?

@jimbaker1 thanks for the follow up and I was more than happy to help. The info you provided further confirms that this is a block happening by Bell Canada. It is not uncommon for ISPs to block access to their mail servers from VPN based IP addresses.
