1av8r Posted May 4, 2018 ID:1239619 Share Posted May 4, 2018 I consistently get scan hits for RiskWare related to iTunes components. If I quarantine the items, I end up having to repair or reinstall iTunes. How can I get MalwareBytes to ignore these iTunes components? Staff miekiemoes Posted May 4, 2018 Staff ID:1239622 Share Posted May 4, 2018 Hi, Do you have TuneUp Utilities installed? Because this program creates such keys. See here for more info and why we detect: In order to exclude this from detection: when the scan is done, uncheck the detection and click "Next" Then you'll see a new window open where it will ask what to do with this. In your case, you need to select: "Ignore Always".
1av8r Posted May 4, 2018 Author ID:1239640 Share Posted May 4, 2018 I run AVG PC TuneUp. Can that be the source? For now, I selected to ignore one time only and evaluate. Thanks for you're super fast response.
