Solution exile360 Posted March 24, 2018 Solution ID:1226860 Share Posted March 24, 2018 Try disabling just the Ransomware Protection component to see if that helps. Many have reported that performance issues they've noticed with Malwarebytes were alleviated once the Ransomware Protection component was disabled. There's a fix currently in testing for this issue that is planned to be included in the next release which is expected to be coming up soon, assuming all goes well with testing. ParanoiaBoy Posted March 25, 2018 Author ID:1226892 Share Posted March 25, 2018 so may we expect a ''slimmer'' mbam in terms of performance after the next fix?
exile360 Posted March 25, 2018 ID:1226900 Share Posted March 25, 2018 Sort of. Basically some performance related problems and conflicts were identified in the Ransomware Protection component and the Developers worked on a potential fix for it and if all goes well, that fix will be included in the upcoming release which will hopefully resolve the problems some people are having with it lately. ParanoiaBoy Posted March 25, 2018 Author ID:1226953 Share Posted March 25, 2018 thank you again, very kind! last question as we end: when exactly may we expect the fix? next days? next week?
exile360 Posted March 25, 2018 ID:1226956 Share Posted March 25, 2018 It was planned for late this month, but seeing as we haven't even seen the first public beta build yet, I'm guessing it may be a while longer, though hopefully not too much longer. We'll just have to wait and see how long development and testing takes,
