Malware Protection won't turn on

Hi all, today I got a warning that there was something up with my protection settings so I went for a look and I found that Malware Protection was off and when I clicked it on it said starting and then went back to off.

I've tried turning it on several times and have restarted my computer to see if that would help but it's definitely not turning on.

Can anyone give me some advice?

I'm having the same exact problem.  Didn't start until I upgraded.

Problem is apparently solved for me too, I just installed the update and everything is working fine.

The only thing I don't understand is why the Malware Protection turned itself off in the first place.

No matter I suppose all is good now.

Looks like a reinstall fixed the problem.

The Malwarebytes 3.3.1 build has fixes for a lot of the Real time protections not starting issues.

if you are still seeing issues after upgrading to 3.3.1 please let us know.
