Hixpix Posted October 19, 2017 ID:1174193 Share Posted October 19, 2017 Hello, I have installed the Fall Creator upgrade on my Win 10 Home 64 bit Laptop. Windows Defender will not run its virus protection as it see's MBAM as being the chosen A/virus. I want to run Windows Defender as my main anti-virus alongside MBAM as I believe they work well together and is the way I have it set up on my HP Pavilion Desktop which is running 64-bit Home. I have added exclusions in both apps but W/Defender refuses to bring up a green tick against the Virus and Threat protection. I have compared the similar settings on the Desktop but still I cannot clear the problem. The main observation is the desktop does not have the Win 10 Fall Creator update installed. Firefox Posted October 19, 2017 ID:1174199 Share Posted October 19, 2017 Hello and Welcome Go to your MB3 settings and choose the option: Never register Malwarebytes in the Windows Action Center.
