Web Protection Does Not Work Under Opera Proxy

Hi, I wanted to warn you that the web protection function does not work with the opera proxy enabled. I hope they can solve it in the new version of the program,

Can you post a screenshot of the proxy options you're using? I have a feeling this is expected. The way the proxy works is that all traffic goes to the proxy first, and when Web Protection checks your traffic, it looks like it's just going to that site.

Yep, the way the Opera proxy works, this is expected behavior as it's essentially a mini-vpn. As far as your computer, or anyone watching your network, is aware, you're going to the address of your proxy and that's it.

@Solitario You have to trust Opera with this. MBAM can't provide web protection, but its anti-malware protection would kick-in if a harmful script or *.exe were executed.

It's a multi-layered system. No one approach handles all. 

When you choose to run Opera's "VPN" proxy, you can't have MBAM web protection without violating the VPN integrity. This isn't unique to MBAM. 

One must turn off Opera's proxy for V3's web protection.

This is true of any VPN connection.

Hello, the nod32 does protect under the proxy of Opera. If they want to be more competitive solve the problems of compatibility with all browsers. Thank you very much for your time and help. Greetings.
