Al2017 Posted July 28, 2017 ID:1146934 Share Posted July 28, 2017 I did everything I read here...I disconnected from my chrome account...deleted all the sync data...ran adwcleaner_7.0.0.0 , it cleaned everything...when I open my chrome again, after I have cleaned its history, etc, the first page it goes to is duckduckgo.com I have malwarebytes premium...it does not detected anything... It has been changed back to Google by default in the v7.0.1.0 with the possibility to choose whichever settings you prefer from the Options panel. IT is like this...I clean...all good...open chrome, DUckduckgo.com...then when I check for adwares again, the thing appears again...just like the image above. ADWCleaner also finds on every reboot (after deletion) these items: PUP.Optional.Legacy, [Data] - HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\Tcpip\Parameters | DhcpNameServer [80.58.61.250 80.58.61.254] PUP.Optional.Legacy, [Data] - HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\Tcpip\Parameters | DhcpNameServer [80.58.61.250 80.58.61.254] PUP.Optional.Legacy, [Data] - HKLM\SYSTEM\CurrentControlSet\services\Tcpip\Parameters\Interfaces\{721AA0C3-DCB1-4142-AD01-1C7C43361099} | DhcpNameServer [80.58.61.250 80.58.61.254] browsers, which are not running at the moment of turning on have no this problem. but starting to delay connection as well if leave them running while putting the pc on sleep. if that a miner or so? how to fix it? thanks! sorry if this is not a place to ask about it.
