pup.optional.spigot and pup.optional.Visicoupons infection in quarantine

Recommended Posts

I have multiple instances of a pup.optional.spigot infection in quarantine, but it looks like most of them are part of the registry, so I'm afraid to delete them. What's the difference between a registry key and registry data? Are they safe to remove? I would assume that since they're in the registry deleting them won't make a difference since my computer seems to still be working, correct? Or are they just doing what they're supposed to in there while being unable to spread whatever infection they have?
