auutumn Posted October 25, 2016 ID:1068184 Share Posted October 25, 2016 I've had this app running for several days now. A few minutes ago I updated my antivirus software, 360 Security. 20+ minutes later, your app flags a component as being ransomware. I'm not expert but shouldn't your program be checking installations and updates as they happen, not several minutes later.
UDontSay Posted October 27, 2016 ID:1068718 Share Posted October 27, 2016 Hey, I've got a similar case. I turned my PC on checked some emails and then Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware flags 360TsLiveUpd.exe as ransom (Threat Name: Malware.Ransom.Agent.Generic), it's definetely a false positive. The joke is I can't even restore it, because I didn't make a reboot, but if I do so the file is removed, that is stupid!
1PW Posted October 27, 2016 ID:1068748 Share Posted October 27, 2016 Hello UDontSay and Please carefully read the locked and pinned topic in this sub-forum, How to report a False Positive and for developer analysis, kindly attach the 2 requested .zip archives to your next reply in this thread. If an exclusion has not already been entered, a temporary exclusion entry might then be made available to prevent a re-occurrence for your individual system. Thank you for beta testing MBARW and your feedback.
