Hello Leondre and :welcome:

Strong evidence points to a false positive and if the following exclusion has been made, it may remain until a MBARW developer or staffer requests otherwise:

                    S:\SteamLibrary\steamapps\common\Subnautica\Subnautica.exe

As many improvements and fixes have been included with the release of MBARW Beta7 v0.9.16.484, it is strongly recommended this upgrade be made to the system in question.

Reference: Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware BETA 7 Now Available

Thank you for beta testing MBARW and your valuable feedback.

Since the other user sent in the file etc there isn't much point in me doing so, but I can confirm that it happened to me last night and I am using MBARW Beta7 v0.9.16.484.

It has also picked on a second game in my steam library as well a couple of weeks ago (sorry for not posting then) (it was Fortresscraft) - Hope it ok to post it here as it is another "steam" game.

It would be nice if we could actually have the option to exclude a folder (and sub folders) instead of just the filename, this way I could just exclude my entire steamapps folder

Hello @NZ-Simplicity and :welcome:

It is disappointing to read your Consumer Beta testing system is having MBARW Beta issues but each computer is unique.  Problems that seem "the same" frequently are not.  The same is true for solutions.  Solutions may often need to be individualized for your unique testing system.

It is less confusing for everyone if a "One Member Per Topic" policy is adhered to instead of posting to the topic of another member.  Development Team Members, Staffers, and Helpers will be able to more easily provide both you and the OP/Topic Starter, with individualized assistance.

Please start a NEW, and SEPARATE topic by left-clicking this >>Start New Topic<< link now.

Thank you always for your patience and understanding.
