  1. Thanks for the replies I have added Empyrion full pathname to exclusions, and will very shortly add S:\steam\steamapps\common folder to exclusions as well, that hopefully should stop steam games bad behaviour in anti-ransomware..
  2. Yet ANOTHER one of my steam games has been tagged by anti-ransomware, this is getting a bit beyond a joke.... And since it seems something has changed in ProgramData I am including the 2 folders I found in there... If this keeps up I am going to just go into exclusions and exclude every game one by one in anti-ransomware until I have excluded all steam games, as having false positives on game files that are downloaded from a platform such as steam should not happen. Empyrion.zip Malwarebytes.zip MalwarebytesARW.zip
  3. As requested here is the seperate post I should have done in the first place (sorry) I have had two false positives in the last couple of weeks, BOTH games from my Steam Library.. I have done exclusions for both those files, although as I said in the original post I made it would be great if there was the possibility to be able to just exclude the steamapps folder and everything in it (I'm sure steam douldn't dare try anything nasty to our files) 1) Fortresscraft 2) Subnautica Attached are the files you need FC_64.zip logs.zip Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware.zip Sub
  4. Since the other user sent in the file etc there isn't much point in me doing so, but I can confirm that it happened to me last night and I am using MBARW Beta7 v0.9.16.484. It has also picked on a second game in my steam library as well a couple of weeks ago (sorry for not posting then) (it was Fortresscraft) - Hope it ok to post it here as it is another "steam" game. It would be nice if we could actually have the option to exclude a folder (and sub folders) instead of just the filename, this way I could just exclude my entire steamapps folder FC_64.zip logs.zip Malwarebytes Ant
