USB chargers that are key loggers

Recommended Posts

Hi,

I just wanted to inform you folks of a new device that is now a known threat to the community. These are what appear to be USB chargers that contain key loggers that transmit the data cache to these criminals. The business community are probably the target of this device. These devices can run even without even being plugged in. Wireless keyboards made by Microsoft prior to 2011 are also susceptible to being hacked with similar premise.

I d not have a URL to provide as this information was received from a credible source in the industry. I just wanted to help others to become aware that such devices now exist so that they may take precautions regarding this device and the vulnerability of wireless keyboards.

That's the way it works.  This site can't be a "rumor" mill.

To post relevant information such as this it is incumbent upon the poster to provide an authoritative link.

Aura found a link that shows an article from January '15.  However, it is not the reader's job.  It is your job IComeOnlyInPeace as you are the one proffering this information.
