We are using Malwarebytes Free V2.0.4.1028 and want to attempt to manuall schedule Definition Updates and Scans on Windows 7 OS.  We have attempted to do this with Task Scheduler.  When the Definition Update Task and Scan Task Run, we get a status of "The operation completed successfully".   However, when we open Malwarebytes Free, the Definitions show that they need to be updated and the Scan Date has not been updated.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello and Welcome to Malwarebytes.

This option is only available to the paid for version which is Premium. It has its own build in scheduler.

You can not do this on the free version through task scheduler or through bat files....

Your only solution is to buy the Premium version if you want to automate updating and scanning.
