Hello:

It looks as if you recently worked with Blackbird in the malware removal section here?

Let's get some fresh logs for the staff and experts, please.

Please read the following and attach to your next reply the 3 requested logs - Diagnostic Logs (the 3 logs are: FRST.txt, Addition.txt and CheckResults.txt)

>>>NOTES:

Please delete from your computer any copies of the above scanners and download fresh copies, as explained in the link.

As you have previously run FRST on this system, please place a check-mark in the "Addition.txt" option before running it again.

Then, please ATTACH all 3 logs to your next reply here.

Also, please tell us: what abnormal computer behavior are you experiencing?

Thank you,

Hi daledoc1! thank you for your prompt response. yup, that's right. Blackbird assisted me to check for malware. He recommended me to come here to check for PC issues.

I'm experiencing high memory usage at times and i get BSOD if i leave my com on for a while with no program running except my steam and dota 2. could it possible be a graphic card memory leak?

I have attached the logs that you requested. If i did anything wrong, please advise me accordingly so that i may rectify them.

Thank you.

Hi:

Sorry for the delay.

Thanks for the logs.

Alas, I am neither authorized nor qualified to review the scan logs for the sorts of issues you describe.

As such, please try to be patient and wait for a staff member or expert forum member to do so.

It is a holiday weekend, and most of focus here is on malware-related issues.

So it might take some time.

Alternatively, you might try a more "general" computer forum, such as bleepingcomputer.com or sevenforums.com?

Thanks very much for your patience and understanding,

The logs indicate that this computer may not be running a licensed or activated copy of Windows. Not saying it's not but it has 2 parts of the licensing and activation that are not running. Could be damage from an infection. Not so sure you're currently infected (no true obvious signs) but to rule it out I would suggest following the advice from the topic here Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers and having one of the Experts assist you with looking into your issue.

Once certain the computer is not infected you can work on fixing the other errors.

Thanks

Hi daledoc1 and Advancesetup,

Thank you for your replies. FYI, i have already got help from Blackbird in this thread, "https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/162905-32exe-processes-in-task-manager/".

There's no malware detected. Perhaps you can reopen that thread for me and give me your opinions. i definitely did not let myself get reinfected with malware after Blackbird assisted me.

What i see here is that i'm being pushed around from 1 section of the forum to another. If no one is able to help me, it's alright. please proceed to close this thread as well.

Thank you.

No one is pushing you around from forum to forum. Each one has specific purposes. We use the Removal forum so you have trained one-on-one support with no one interjecting their "ideas" of what's wrong and how to fix it.

This forum here is more general in nature to see if you may need malware removal or not. Often quick or easy items are fixed here by giving the appropriate advice.

In your case you have some issues that may or may not be able to be easily fixed. Please read the following to help give you an idea of the troubles that malware can cause.

The complexity of finding, preventing, and cleanup from malware

Then when ready please start a NEW topic in this forum below and when ready send me a private message with the link to your new topic and I will assist you further myself.

Also reference this topic here in your new topic.

Thank you
