The complexity of finding, preventing, and cleanup from malware I had the same problem today.It looked as if it was uninstalled, only left with program folders so I had to reinstall.The only significant change I can remember is that my computer(windows 8.1) had an update before it was turned on.I don't know what caused it to disappear like that but it scared me a lot so I hope it gets fixed.
