Mike78 Posted May 28, 2014 ID:835419 Share Posted May 28, 2014 HiI picked up some malware- "SupraSavings" - while streaming a movie and got irritated with it. So I uninstalled it and closed the addon in Firefox. My browser would then start loading the links I clicked on but wouldn't display anything on the page, despite the page being loaded. I downloaded MBAM and ran the scan. Found 229 bugs and PUPs and cleaned them all out. Ran it twice more to check for stragglers. After that my Internet just wouldn't open anything. I can ping a site like google.com just fine and the ping loopback works as well. I have no proxy setup on the connection. I'm running Win7 64 and connecting wirelessly to the router. Ive done a few things that were mentioned on these forums ,incorrectly if I know myself, but still no joy. Someone please help.
