Issues after Optimizer Pro removal - ext HDD not recognized

Notebook was infected by Optimizer Pro malware.  Followed instructions on malwaretips.com forum.  Did routine windows uninstall, followed by running the following:

1.  AdwCleaner

2.  Junkware Removal Tool

3.  MalwareBytes

4.  Hitman Pro

No sign of Optimizer Pro after removal!!

Running Norton 360 w/ regular updates & scans.

Here's the problem:  My Lenovo v570 notebook won't recognize my WD Passport HDD, anymore.  It simply lists it as "Local drive E:", & won't allow access.  The Passport still works fine on other notebooks.

My drive manager doesn't show any faults, but the Lenovo Solutions Center diagnostic utility says there's a problem w/ the driver "lsnfd" - "not installed".  Can't find any other issues.

Running W7 Home Premium w/ SP1.

IE 11.0.9600.16428

Where to go from here?

Thanks, in advance.
