I have done all of the above and the owner reports that the computer is running well now. I will also refer him to your link of best practices to, hopefully, reduce the chance of infection again in the future. Thank you so very much for your help with this! The issue was brought to me because I am more computer saavy than the owner, but I am BY NO MEANS and expert and could never have handled this on my own without your assistance, so THANK YOU!!
