App crash on Android 4.4 (KitKat)

I've installed the ASOP KitKat build for Nexus 4 by the Paranoid Android team (https://plus.google.com/107979589566958860409/posts/V5X6RZbqUAT), and now Malwarebytes crashes when I open it or when it tries to scan an app. 

I've attached a log, can anyone have a look please? Thanks.

Just FYI, I'm on a different 4.4 build (still same phone) and am getting the same error. I should get my new Nexus 5 tomorrow, will try again with that and let you know.

Just got an update from QA and they were able to confirm the crash.  Our developers are now working on it.

Not that you need to read this, but:

 

Nexus 7 2013 wifi, 4.4 installed from factory upgrade (not OTA), TWRP, rooted, SuperSU, etc.

 

Had to uninstall MBAM, like everyone else reported here.  The only other .apk failure was Xposed framework, necessary for experimental features in Greenify.  

 

If it helps at all, I am a ready guinea pig!

Our newest version of Malwarebytes Mobile should be released in the Google Play store.  Please make sure you are updated to the latest version and see if that helps, as it should now support 4.4 KitKat.

Thanks, it's working now. But could you please offer another option for the notification icon? Android 4.4 has white icons, it would be great if Malwarebytes could offer a white option in addition to blue and grayscale.

Thanks for the quick action. My Nexus 7 upgraded to 4.4 this evening, and Malwarebytes wasn't working, but the newer version does.

I have a Nexus 7, and was using Malwarebytes.  I had to uninstall it with the intention to reinstall it again.  However, now when I search for it in the Play Store, it tells me my device is not compatible with that version of Malwarebytes. I can't seem to find any other version.  The version is call Anti-Malware Mobile.  It just doesn't make any sense to me.

 

Has anyone else seen this behavior with a Nexus 7?

Go to the G+ groups and find the beta test group for Malwarebytes,and there are links the lead to the beta version 1.05.9000 and see if you can download it from that leas back into playstore. You have to join the group though to do that,and it took me a bit to find the right links. Feel free to private message me back if you can not find the group.

Just to confirm, are you saying that the current GA version of Malwarebytes will not install on the Nexus 7, but the Beta version will?
