Program_error_scheduler & protection disabled

I am running Malwarebytes Pro under Windows 7 64 bit OS.  Under the tab "Protection"  I see "enable file system protection" and "enable malicious website protection" and under a red banner that reads "Protection disabled".

 

Also under the tab "Settings" and sub-tab "scheduler settings", I find the error message:  An error has ocurred. Please report this issue to our support team (include the content of all message(s) and code(s) in your submission).  PROGRAM_ERROR_SCHEDULER (2.0,SchedulerStart)  The system cannot find the file specified.

This is typically an indication of an infection.

 

I would suggest following the advice from the topic here Available Assistance for Possibly Infected Computers and having one of the Experts assist you with looking into your issue.
