Installing Pro on a different (infected) computer

Recommended Posts

My parent's computer has been infected.  Can I install Malwarebytes Pro on my computer - saved to a USB- and install it on their computer?

Also, I understand I can't install in safe mode.  Should it be okay to install it on the infected computer.

They already have the free version. A system restore was done and now when I try to open Malwarebytes, an error message appears saying some files are no longer there. (sorry, I don't remember the actual error message and I'm in a different location).

Thanks
