Malware infection please help

Recommended Posts

I think so, how do i tell?

You can't...try it again:

Note:

If no additional threats were found, verify that your system is now running normally, making sure that the following items are functional:

Internet access

Windows Update

Windows Firewall

If there are additional problems with your system, such as any of those listed above or other system issues, then run the fixdamage tool included with Malwarebytes Anti-Rootkit and reboot. It's located in the Plugins folder which is in the MBAR folder.

Just run fixdamage.exe.

Verify that your system is now functioning normally.

    [*]Press "Scan".

[*]It will create a log (FSS.txt) in the same directory the tool is run.

[*]Please copy and paste the log to your reply.

Dear MrC

I tried that 1st site a couple of weeks ago and it didnt help, the second link I have got down to solution 4, I am re-entering the .dll files and all are ok except 2, msxml.dll & initpki.dll when i enter those two codes it brings a message up stating - The module "msxml.dll" failed to load. Make sure the binary is stored at the specified path or debug it to check for problems with the binary or dependent .DLL files. The specified module could not be found

I then tried solution 5 in regedit but there was no folder called windows update

does this make any sense to you, because it means nothing to me
