AV picks up Trojan - MWB does not detect same

Recommended Posts

My pc has been exhibiting cpu usage of 100% lately and seems a bit sluggish but not a lot sluggish-still runs pretty well. Thought I'd run a boot scan with Avast - at 79% scan it detected the following: delfiles-AZ (trj). The scan menu had a system for the action to take - 1.remove 2.repair 3.move to chest -- that may not be accurate wording but you get the idea. When I said - move to chest - the menu said: file in windows folder - are you sure?? Not being sure what to do with that windows wording, I said: Ignore - did not know if I should mess with a windows folder but now I think I should have said remove to chest and yes to, are you sure?? Anyway, I then ran a MWB quick scan (twice) and nothing was detected. My cpu usage has dropped to 55% since the scan but I didn't do anything to that bad file so am sort of in a quandry as to what is going on. Thought I'd start here before going to consumer service (paying customer) as maybe there is no need. System spec as follows:

Dell Inspiron 2305 --- Win 7 SP1 -- AMD Athlon II x2 250U processor 1.60 GHz

Memory 4.0 GB -- Disk space 800 GB free - 2 years old

Thanks in advance.
