West Yorkshire police virus

Hi,

A friend of mine has this infection on his laptop,he's said he can log in

and sees his desktop for about a second,then the screen goes black and

and the "west yorkshire police"logo fills the screen and it's asking for money

and bank card details.

He's dropping the laptop round to me tomorrow to have a look at it.Was wondering

if someone is familiar with this virus and knows how to go about getting rid of it.

Thanks for your reply.But i've just been informed by my friend that he can't drop the

laptop off to me till next week because he's gone on holiday,so i'll get back to you then
