haliesiobhan Posted December 19, 2011 ID:506322 Share Posted December 19, 2011 I've had PING.exe running in Task Manager processes for a while now, plus Google redirecting me to a completely irrelevant page when I try to click on a link. I've also had AVG telling me it's finding tracking cookies about every 5 minutes. When I try to uncheck "Accept Third-Party Cookies" on Firefox, it rechecks itself, so I'm assuming that it's a virus. When i try to end the PING.exe process it restarts itself in about a minute. I have no idea what to do, and when it comes to firewalls and anti-virus situations, I'm technologically challenged. I have AVG 2012 on my computer along with Malwarebytes Anti-Malware. Neither have detected anything wrong with my computer, so someone help please~.
