HijackThis is a standalone executable. You can simply delete it (which will move it to the Recycle Bin).

Oh cool. Thanks for sharing.
If people prefer cats, there's the Kitten Cam too.

Wait, is the first post a cat's mind or the average redditor's mind?

Recovering and cleaning up from the storms in the Northeast. We had several downed trees and I had a battery backup take a hit.

I wonder if a dial-up friendly check has been added yet. That is, it checks for a program update first and then checks for a definition update. Saves having to download the definition file, then the program update, then the definition file again. It's been a complaint I've seen by a few of the users on my forum.
Edit: Just installed and updated definitions. Would like to see a bit more information when the definitions are updating.

Cnet/Download.com has been serving up malware with a majority of their downloads.
I completely avoid that site and recommend others do the same.
If you want a nice monitor dimmer (or one that adjusts over time as the day progresses) check out F.lux.

Question 1 needs a "None" option for those who don't use Linux, Mac, iPhone or Android.
-
Do not, ever use a Norton or Symantec product. The only decent product they have is SymNRT.
I concur with what some have said, Spybot isn't really any good anymore. It used to be nice but now it's very dated and lagging behind.

For future references, try running a tracert in your command prompt to see if there's an issue along the way to the server.

No problems with the speed of the forums here, either.

You know noknojon, now that you mention it. You made me wonder about my own posts. Appx. 4,800 on Lunarsoft (Join date for my forum is 05 Sep 2005, but I had also used others before that). Just over 3,000 on the first forum I ever joined (join date reads 27-January 2004).
So... At that rate, it'll be the year 2020 before I hit 5,000 posts here.

Free Tacos would be nice but I am a long way off.
Funny, I just had some José Olé mini-tacos for lunch. They were good.

Quality > quantity.

On the note of VirusTotal, if you like to upload samples try out Rightload.

Shy, the forums are going to be hammered for about a week due to the new skin which is more spider-friendly. There will be a lot of re-indexing and updating of pages which in turns increases work for the forums.

For what it's worth, the default IP.Board theme works fine. A majority of the issues are related to the custom theme.
-
I sure hope Tarun doesn't mean that this feature was dropped from the new IPBoard software version.
If so, that's a bit of a deal breaker for me.
Say it ain't so!
If I recall correctly, it was something that was sparsely used.

If we are thinking about the same thing that was what I mentioned about in post 47.
"We used to be able to keep "notes" in our profile." and got NO answer.
Notes got removed a while back. If you want an answer, search the IPS Community about it.

Tonight, starting at 7:30PM PST(for your timezone, click here). We will be performing maintenance on our forums. During this maintenance period the forums will be completely unaccessible. After the maintenance period, if you notice *any* issues, reply to this thread, please.
Bug - Messenger is REALLY FUBAR. Looks like a bad skin bug.

Also, favicon needs updating. Currently using IP.Board stock favicon.
There's also something between Replace and Undo, and Redo and Copy that should not be there. That's also a skin bug.

site looks alot nicer did this affect the mobile verion as well
Yes, there's a new mobile skin.
Yay this is 3.2!
AdvancedSetup, there's a button on the top left that says Toggle editing mode. That allows you to see the raw BBCode, etc. Which would let you see the behavior of indent is now this:
[indent=1]xxx[/indent]
-
Upgrading to 3.2.3 finally? I hope so.
-
Backup your game related stuff and reinstall it?
Just hope it's not on Origin. :\
-
We couldn't for backwards compatibility reasons.
Perhaps for v2.0 then?
-
I think it should be yyyy instead of yy for clarity sake.

People might like this more if there's an option to send data to their home servers/backup computers, too.
