Oh look, a picture from the quake that occurred in 2010.
-
^ That should be in another topic, to be honest. It's offtopic and nowhere near the area where the topic of this quake occurred.
I've been closely following the quake since it happened and there've been a lot of aftershocks. I've not felt a single one yet despite the strongest being a 4.5.
Thus far we've had the main 5.8 quake, and as for aftershocks: 2.8, 2.2, 4.2, 3.4, 2.5, 4.5, 2.3, 2.4.

4.2 aftershock at 8:04 PM. Schools are canceled/closed tomorrow. HAHA this is funny.

I heard one person got hurt. Hit their head cause they tried to dive for cover in a high school lol.
-
Yeah, it was really surprising when it happened too.

Tarun, what links?
As of this post, this link on Malwarebytes loads 1.46. There's also an affiliate link that loaded 1.50 last I checked. I won't post that link but if you need it I can PM it.
-
When are the links on malwarebytes.org going to be updated? (And I don't mean to offsite mirrors either)
-
Awesome! I can't wait to try it
Could someone please clarify this for me though: I don't quite understand what it means.
All HKey Current User are moved to HKey Local Machine in the registry.
Not sure why things are still being saved to the registry, as much of Windows programming wants to get away from it.

Thanks guys and gals.

Saw this on another forum I frequent and felt I should pass it along as many of this community may know of her as well.
Dear Friends,I suspect that many of you have noticed that the last issue of Karen's Power Tools Newsletter was dated March 17, 2010, and you may have been anxiously awaiting another. It is with great sadness that I write to tell you of Karen's death on April 12, 2011, after a long struggle with several debilitations, including diabetes. I know that Karen touched many of you with her kindness, wit, creativity and encouragement. She was a loving daughter, sister, aunt and friend. And she was a pretty darned good programmer, too. We are deeply grieving her loss. For now, Karen's server is still running, the programs she has written can still be downloaded, and donations can still be made through the website. We are also working to fill all CD orders that have been submitted or mailed. It is difficult to make business decisions while grieving. So, at this point, I cannot say what will be the future of KarenWare.com, except to say that we will certainly continue Karen's commitment to safeguard your privacy as shown at the Privacy link of KarenWare.com. Many of you have already written many kinds words of condolence and comfort. Please know that we greatly appreciate you. If you care to make a contribution in her honor, she was a long-time supporter of The Dohnavur Fellowship, a special children's ministry in southern India. You can learn more about them at www.DohnavurFellowship.org. All we ask is that you remember her whenever you take the case off of your computer, contemplate removing entries from your Windows Registry, listen to Bob Wills or Riders in the Sky, or wave and say 'Hi!' to anyone on the 'net. May God richly bless you, as He has all those who knew Karen.

Karen's brother
Karen died in her sleep on Tuesday, 12 April. Here is a link to the obituary that appeared in the Tulsa World:

There is a bug that requires a php file to be patched/edited, and as such it has been temporarily disabled.

Might be worth posting a screenshot next time.

Firefox here. Using Firefox 4 x64 nightly in fact.
Chrome, looked at once, never again. Especially after that huge EULA mess they had with how if you use their browser to post anything (blog, news, forum post, etc.) they could use it and say it's their own. Forget it.
So I'm happily continuing with Firefox, using Adblock Plus paired with rick752's (RIP) EasyList* (whitelisting favorite/frequent sites), Tab Mix Plus, and DownThemAll (and a few other addons for website work like Firebug and Web Developer). I don't touch NoScript. I find it far too paranoid and annoying for my tastes.
*Avoid Fanboy's list, else you'll have tons of broken images on tons of websites.

Seems the problem is on your end, Anonymosity. Tested in Firefox and IE8 with no issues at all.

I recommend it on my website and in my Anti-Malware Toolkit to users. Often it can pick up what scanners can leave behind or miss.

It has been suggested many times that they re-enable the "Report" feature/button here so posts can be reported properly. Though it has not been re-enabled because it causes "more work for the team".
3.x has a report center which makes things a lot easier. No idea why they've waited all this time to upgrade, but 3.1 is out June 1st so these forums may finally be upgraded then.

Yeah, registry cleaners are hard to tell of they help or not. That's the main issues with them.

On Comodo Firewall: I quit using it when I won a lifetime Outpost Pro Firewall license. I haven't been happier. I already had trust issues with Comodo since they were issuing security certificates to known malware sites. If they allow that, just imagine them recommending a malware application as "safe to trust" in their firewall.

I just encountered this issue on a PC I was working on. Same thing basically.
I'll see about getting this moved and letting the devs know about this.
-
You could upload your minidump from C:\Windows\Minidump and the source of the issue can be pinpointed.

You might want to toss Spinrite and read the following: http://wiki.lunarsoft.net/wiki/Data_Recovery

Uninstall and then reinstall them. You may need to .NET Cleanup Utility.
