  1. aah sorry i didnt mean to post in the wrong forum and i had checked the forum before posting here i couldnt get it ot load half the time and when i did htere was no info now that i just checked again aparently they now have a banner at the top explaining there is issues
  2. seems to load hotmail.com on internet explorer just fine but not firefox
  3. when i type hotmail.com into the address bar it acts like its loading then all of a sudden im faced with this Server not found Firefox can't find the server at mail.live.com. * Check the address for typing errors such as ww.example.com instead of www.example.com * If you are unable to load any pages, check your computer's network connection. * If your computer or network is protected by a firewall or proxy, make sure that Firefox is permitted to access the Web. help please im getting this issue on 3 different computers and it was working fine 3 hours ago even trying to access it thru the messenger doesnt work since clicking the email inbox button just takes you to hotmail.com and you get the same page the service status message also says the site is running but clearly its not
  4. yeah i clean all that stuff every few months with a compressor and as for the ram every couple formats i pull the battery and ram out for a few hours before i reformat
  5. yeah i know its normal i also notice after a few weeks after teh install of windows that the program scans less files as well but yeah i think i might test my ram the computer is rather old
  6. i was able to get the program to open up right after the crash and it ran with out a problem still taking 20 minutes to scan the computer but it always does that after a fresh install of windows for some odd reason after a week or to that drops down to 6 minutes
  7. i went to scan the computer after closing world of warcraft since i was gonna turn the computer off its a habit of mine to scan when its turned on and then turned off windows was just freshly installed the other day only thingo n the computer is mse (which mbam is in the expeptions list) firefox and mbam ofc oh and world of warcraft when i went to event viewer these are the errors encountered Faulting application mbam.exe, version 1.51.1.1076, faulting module ntdll.dll, version 5.1.2600.6055, fault address 0x00036822. the second was The application, C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe, generated an application error The error occurred on 08/20/2011 @ 06:25:57.078 The exception generated was c0000005 at address 7C936822 (ntdll!wtol) any ideas why?
  8. your welcome and im posting on my computer but iv noticed it on this computer and one other as well and acording to someone elses post after me it apears to be change made by google them selves google has a habit of making changes with out telling people or giving us a warning and on a side note the computer im on now is using firefox 5 with the only addon being adblock plus my computer has firefox 3.6.18 with the addons noscript and adblock plus and same thing stupid changes so it seems safe
  9. i also noticed that the search button doesnt say search any more its just a big blue button with a magnifying glass
  10. i had this issue on my computer as well it was showing weird the top bar whe ndoing a google search that says web images ect ect was a dark blue instead of white
  11. its a scam its not a new one but its picked up alot lately just ignore it
  12. not sure why the picture wasnt uploaded i also noticed a new svhost.exe running on the task manager AFTER this all started so im kinda panicing not sure wtf going on
  13. yeah also posted a post on another website and they said it has to do with drivers and fixing them if you install bad ones
  14. grab the ref file from your updated computer and dump it in the one that isnt updating see if that helps
  15. i use full malwarebytes and mse my self avg has a habit of spitting out false positives and if you play wow every single patch it will spit out a false positive and delete the whole wow folder my only other suggestion besides mse is avast i used avast along side malwarebytes before switching to mse
  16. for windows you could use hypercam but its not good for games really if there in fullscreen mode well at least hypercam 2 was like that i dont nkow about 3 my only other suggestion would be to fork out the cash for fraps
  17. so i reinstalled guildwars onto my computer after over a year of not playing and i wasnt abl to access my account so i uninstall the game and well going thru the computer looking for extra garbage files left behind i come across a folder in this location C:\Documents and Settings\jay\Application Data\Macromedia\Flash Player\macromedia.com\support\flashplayer\sys\#gowindowslive.com my confusion is it was created on the 21st but i dont have flash player installed on my computer so im confused about what the folder is doing there AND wy #gowindowslive.com is listed there and im rather concerned is it safe or am ibeing paranoid i did check my mothers computer and its located in the same spot so what exactly is this and should i be worried i just re did my computer the other day after it crashed
