  1. oddly I never got any notifications about this at all, I only noticed today(the logs go back to the 31 of October)because the monthly summary came up and mentioned a bunch of blocked sites, on checking it was full of this. Malwarebytes www.malwarebytes.com -Log Details- Protection Event Date: 11/4/23 Protection Event Time: 1:54 PM Log File: 2bcba17a-7b3b-11ee-8c9f-d8bbc15bd968.json -Software Information- Version: 4.6.3.282 Components Version: 1.0.2158 Update Package Version: 1.0.76910 License: Premium -System Information- OS: Windows 11 (Build 22621.2428) CPU: x64 File System: NTFS User: System -Blocked Website Details- Malicious Website: 1 , C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Bounty of One\BountyOfOne.exe, Blocked, -1, -1, 0.0.0, , -Website Data- Category: RiskWare Domain: optizonion.games IP Address: 174.138.179.166 Port: 443 Type: Outbound File: C:\Program Files (x86)\Steam\steamapps\common\Bounty of One\BountyOfOne.exe (end)
  2. the system restore was able to remove it. thankfully, only took me 2 hours of trying different things to finally fix it. oddly enough, for some reason the application used to control my ear buds had to be reinstalled too, something about virtualbox broke it, maybe that was the cause of the issues.
  3. I'm trying to uninstall virtualbox, just gives me a fatal error message and says rolling back, right now I'm trying a system restore to before I installed the software. See if that helps if not I will give the suggestions in the link a try.
  4. I was playing around with virtualbox and now I can't uninstall the software, it just tells me it failed with a fatal error and it rolled back the changes. I am at a loss on how to fix it. really would rather not have to completely reinstall windows.
  5. i love the new look, I still just wish the force update button actually gave feedback that its downloading an update( it doesn't help the update button is greyed out).
  6. Synapse is actually up to date. Since I reinstalled it, I uninstalled it, rebooted then downloaded the installer , installed and did another reboot and seen the crash in event viewer. Did a couple more reboots and it wasn't happening all the time.
  7. That's what I am doing. hopefully they have an idea, still wish I knew what caused the issue with the taskbar.
  8. Synapse is still crashing, no idea the cause. no idea if its the cause of the taskbar issues either, but considering task bar crashes as soon as i login before synapse even starts to load I wouldn't think so.
  9. I was right its already disabled. just reinstalled synapse, going to do a reboot and see if its still crashing on boot.
  10. I don't even use widgets, its turned off as far as I know. the only thing plugged into the pc right now is a keyboard and mouse, plus the speakers(they are plugged in via the 3.5 jack), and of course the monitor. so no idea why that error was there for the drive. if you know how to stop the widgets from even running I would gladly do it, since I don't use them.
  11. Addition.txtFRST.txt here are the two files, I also happened to notice it looks like razer synapse is crashing on boot as well, once we are done going thru the logs should I uninstall that and reinstall that after words? I also ran a check disk and it looks like it came back clean.
  12. I do not, have one plugged in at the moment no, its just the ssd in the system. I only ever plug in a secondary drive to do backups.
  13. the problem just happened yet again, bit different this time though, the task bar actually recovered, I did notice a new error message in event viewer. Reset to device, \Device\RaidPort1, was issued.
  14. Alright thanks so much for the help, I'm going to bed now. I will keep an eye on it and if happens again will let you know.
  15. discord says its up to date, can't find a new update. windows updates found nothing new but a definition update for defender. as for the issue I came for it hasn't happened yet again, but that doesn't mean much it seems to randomly happen and no idea what causes it, if it happens again, I am willing to come back and say so.
  16. I do not use onedrive, I have actually uninstalled it a few times, Microsoft seems to like to reinstall it. as for dns I have never changed it, the default is what ever my isp provided, I can't actually download your fix, it says its unavailable.
  17. that's fine, I have checked the windows image for errors, I forget what the command is called exactly but it came back with a clean bill of health. on an unrelated note, I have noticed that when I click the system tray pop up( to bring up the wifi, bluetooth and volume control) that its greyed out for a few seconds then comes up normally, that only happens the first time I click the button after the computer is turned on though, and that's only started in last month and a bit so I think that's caused by a windows update of some sort.
  18. As far as I know they are, I know the bios is up to date, I periodically check that and the last update was in september, which I installed. I can't recall if I grabbed the latest drivers for the other stuff though I am pretty sure I did.
  19. I turn it off when I am done, I never leave it on if I aint using it.
  20. yeah, killing the process and restarting it does nothing, the bar either stays white or vanishes and doesn't come back, I then have to reboot the computer from the control alt delete menu. the computer then takes about 3 minutes or so to actually restart( it sits on the words restarting those 3 minutes). Its a weird issue, I haven't been able to solve for like 8 months now, as I said I have even gone so far as to format the whole machine and it came back up again randomly.
  21. geforce 3060 ti and no they are behind by an update or two, I don't like to always grab the latest drivers due to being burned in the past, I generally like to wait a couple weeks before an update.
