  2. Hello ChrisW123 and welcome to the Malwarebytes forums! For now you can follow the instructions below. Download and run mbam-clean.exe from here It will ask to restart your computer, please allow it to do so very important After the computer restarts, install the latest version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware from here Note: You will need to reactivate the program using the license you were sent via email if using the Pro version Launch the program and set the Protection and Registration. Then go to the UPDATE tab if not done during installation and check for updates. Restart the computer again and verify that MBAM is in the task tray if using the Pro version. Now setup any file exclusions as may be required in your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security/Firewall applications and restart your Anti-Virus/Internet-Security applications. You may use the guides posted in the FAQ's here or ask and we'll explain how to do it. If this issue re-occurs after the clean install please let me know and we will go ahead look a little deeper.
  3. Hello cdhall and welcome to the Malwarebytes forums! What kind of error code are you receiving when you attempt to update? What kind of anti-virus are you using? Is this your first attempt at updating Malwarebytes or have you been using the program for a while and this just happened? Please let me know the answer to these questions and any other information you think might be helpful.
  4. jpinks, You should follow one of those options so that you can work with on of our malware experts who will be able to tell you if it is a false positive or if it is a real issue that you are experiencing.

  6. Hello OmniDan, I have replied to you via private message. Please check your inbox for my response.
  7. I am glad that you were able to get the issue resolved. One thing I did want to mention is that the fee you paid for the Malwarebytes consumer license is a one payment that is good for life. There is no yearly subscription. No additional fees will ever be charged to you. Enjoy the newest version of Malwarebytes and make sure to post any comments about version 1.60 in this post.
  8. Hello frankestein and welcome to the Malwarebytes forums! You can set the desktop to update automatically by going to the Protection tab and clicking on the Scheduler button. This will take you to the Scheduler settings where you can add a scheduled update. To do this, click the Add button and create a update to your liking. I would recommend settings the update to at least once daily. You can find detailed instructions on setting up scheduled updates and scans by looking at Section O in our FAQ. You can access the FAQ by clicking here.
  9. Hello Pinda, Once the Malwarebytes Pro trial expires you will get a pop-up when you open the Malwarebytes program that lets you know that the trial has expired and it will ask you if you want to revert back to the free version or upgrade to the Pro version. Malwarebytes and Comodo IS work together without issues. Setting up the exclusions is rarely needed, but if you do experience an issue with freezing or slow speeds you can add the following files to the exclusion list in Comodo. 32 bit: C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe C:\Program Files\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe 64 bit: C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbam.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamgui.exe C:\Program Files (x86)\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\mbamservice.exe Adding those files should be sufficient enough to resolve any issues. If you are experiencing issues between the two programs after setting up those exclusions please let me know. As far as Panda is concerned, it is recommended to run only one anti-virus program on a computer. Conflicts arise when two anti-virus programs are on the same computer causing the entire system to slow down and can even cause freezing issues.
  10. Hello Abernyte and welcome to the Malwarebytes forums! This issue was resolved by the latest beta release of Malwarebytes version 1.60. Please download Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware version 1.60 to your desktop by clicking on this link. After downloading to your desktop, right click the program and select "Extract Here." Once that is done, you will be able to double click the Malwarebytes installer to install the latest version.

  15. Hello DavidMbncus, If you want to review the items and remove selected ones I would change all three of the options on the scanner settings page to "Show in results list and do not check for removal." This will allow you to go through and check the items that you want and then delete them.
  16. I am glad that I could help. Let me know if you have any issues with the file running or if the problem persist after the file is run.
  17. Hello SocraticIrony and welcome to the Malwarebytes forums! Save the file attached to this reply your desktop and right click and select the option "Extract here" to unzip. It requires admin rights to run. If you're running XP, double click it to begin. If Vista or Windows 7, right-click the file, select 'Run as administrator' and let it run. This should resolve the issue. As for our support, you can access our support form from the main page. At the top of the main page is a drop down labeled "Support." When you mouse over it will drop down an option for corporate or consumer support. Clicking on consumer will give you all of your support options. You can view this page here. Error Load Database.zip

  20. Customer is being helped in corporate-support. This ticket can be closed.
  21. Hello dunebug1, Go ahead and use this link as this has the offline updates.
  22. OK, then this is more then likely an issue with your anti-virus conflicting with Malwarebytes(we tested in safe mode because it will launch without loading your anti-virus). Since you have added the Malwarebytes files to the exclusions list for your anti-virus, lets add the anti-virus files to Malwarebytes ignore list. Please follow the instructions below to add the NOD32 files to Malwarebytes ignore list. Open the Malwarebytes interface. Click on the Ignore List tab. Click the Add button and add the following files to the Malwarebytes ignore list. After selecting each file press the OK button to add to the list. C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Application Data\ESET C:\Program Files\ESET C:\Windows\System32\drivers\eamonm.sys C:\Windows\System32\drivers\epfwwfpr.sys C:\Windows\System32\drivers\ehdrv.sys [*]Once all of the files have been added, you can go ahead and restart your computer and then test to see if you have any issues with the external drive. Note: If you are not able to find the Application Data under Documents and Settings folder when adding exclusions please refer to this post about showing hidden files and folders.
  23. Yes. But first go ahead and submit your file to this website since you are having trouble with VirusTotal. If it comes back as a positive you can go ahead and zip up the questionable file and create a post in the Newest Malware Threats forums here. Make sure to include the results from Jotti in your post. A member of our research team will take a look at it and determine if it is malware or not.
  24. It sounds like you clicked on the wrong link to download and you downloaded ARO instead of Malwarebytes. Go ahead and use this direct link to download the free version of Malwarebytes.
  25. Hello Colorado Techie, This question would best be answered by our corporate support team. Please fill out this form and a member of our support staff will respond. Please make sure to include your Cleverbridge ref number or your Id and Key set when filling out the form.
