Yeah - It doesn't make changes to your machine until you run fix scripts your helper will give you if they see anything in your logs that needs cleaning up. They'll guide you through it all.

Yeah - it looks to be adware or PUP. You probably get more advertisements in your browsers more than usual. Might want to head over to the malware removal help forum so someone can get some logs from your machine and assist removing any leftover traces if any. (which will also better help us to do a more complete removal of the program)
