yeah I got SP3 on, for some reason my sound driver wont install...any ideas?

I'm being blocked aswell.

I got this fixed. I put the HD in another computer and reformatted there..and it worked fine, put it back into my computer and everything ran great, no more BSODs..

I got an LSASS.exe error, and now I can't boot past bios without getting invalid boot.ini file. I've tried reformatting with fresh disks, they always say files are missing and then I can't complete the reformat. I tried 2 hard drives, neither worked, same problem. I tried the HD's in different computers..still invalid boot.ini files..not sure how to fix this..? Thanks.

I was in the general forum and posted this topic since I couldn't reformat, guy in there told me to make thread here and it was W32.Cassel... So, about 2 days ago, I got a Java Pop Up randomly while playing some counterstrike. No big deal, Kinda figured it was probably something malicious but didn't take immediate action. Then, My computer froze so I restarted and It got to the desktop and gave me some LCASS error. now I can't even get to the desktop it just stops after bios screen and tells me NLTDR is missing, press ctrl alt delete to restart..ok. Then I try to Reformat with SP1 disk, bunch of missing files on the reformat disk...alright.. so I go to an unopened, un used SP3 dell reinstall OS disk..it even has files missing and at the end I just get a blue screen of death..what the f is going on? -Dylan I don't think this is Cassel, reason being I haven't used an infected flashdrive, and I can't even get past my bios screen anymore.

try tapping f8 on bootup and go to safemode with networking..see if you can there.

Hi, this happened to me on BOTH my computers for some reason..I Just booted into safe mode with networking then didnt do anyhting, restarted into regular mode and it worked.

I Use MSE and MBAM and wow what a combo..what one doesn't get the other does.

About this time last year on my other computer (Before I knew about malwarebytes) A random noise would always play once every like 30minutes-2 hours. It would play this dramatic music you might hear in a horror film for like 5 seconds..anyone know what this was..Always been curious.
