  1. You can add me to the list as well. Protection layers off pop-up periodically during regular usage. Dashboard says they're on. MBAMSERVICE.LOG
  2. FYI installed (beta6 - build 0.9.15.416) via direct download the day it came out. Program is now starting with protection enabled at system start, restart, reliably.
  3. c:\windows\syswow64\GPhotos.scr This is the Google Photos screensaver. Was able to restore and exclude after reboot. GPhotos.zip MBAMSERVICE.zip mbarwind-02.zip
  4. FWIW update. On boot this morning Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta started with "Protection Disabled" as in previous topic. Clicking "start protection" worked as expected and was correctly reported in Dashboard, I did not attach log files as this is not new behavior since I last did so. Let me know if you want them today. D
  5. This is a new twist. Please see attached image. Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta is now giving the message that it is working and disabled at the same time. Clicking "Start Protection" has no effect. Fully exiting the program (Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta) and re-starting it also has no effect. A question to which I would appreciate an answer, if you are able to tell from thr attached log files is, which of these messages appear to be correct. IOW is Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta currently working or is it not? Thank You for your time. D P.S. I am now running Windows 10 Professional 1511 build 10586.164 DetectEvidence-2016-02-06-094817.zip mbarwind-01.zip
  6. I started a new topic as this seems to be a different issue than the topic I started previously. ( https://forums.malwarebytes.org/index.php?/topic/179117-protection-disabled-at-startup/ ) I left my computer on over night (which I rarely do) and found Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta protection disabled in the morning. Please note The computer does NOT enter any form of sleep stage. I have the monitors set to shut down after two hours but that is all. Again there is no visible indication that protection is disabled and I would not have known had I not opened the programs GUI specifically to check. As disabled protection seems to be more than an isolated problem in this BETA may I suggest that priority be given to providing such indicators in the next build. Thank You logs attached Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware.zip MBAMServicelogs.zip
  7. False Positive while installing PeaZip 5.9.1 Free archiver and file compressor @ http://www.peazip.org/ Logs attached. Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware.zip ProgramDataMalwarebytesMBAMService.zip
  8. That would be logical behavior for a Beta. I did not however disable protection manually. D
  9. Actually My system was upgraded from Windows 7 August of last year. I have not been offered build 1511 via WUD. I will update when offered. FWIW it (Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta) was working properly (protected at startup) prior to your most recent update. Hope that helps Thanks for your reply. D
  10. As others have reported I find Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware Beta disabled at startup. In addition I would add that I only notice this if I happen to maximize the program from the Task Bar to check. No visual indication is given that the program's protection is disabled. Windows 10 (build 10240) Log files attached. Malwarebytes Anti-Ransomware.zip Malwarebytes-MBAMServicelogs.zip
