New blog post about QR codes:

I think it's a nice attempt, but not quite where we envision the product going. We have big plans for the interface down the road, so just stay tuned!

To those using the beta, please see here.
If you are unable to update via the in-product updater, please download the latest version manually and install over the top.

New blog post detailing success!

This was annoying to me too. I'm pretty sure there's an X on the top of the window and it goes away permanently, at least it did for me!
-
We also have some cool ideas for this down the road -- so I'm excited we got this feature rolled out.

New blog post is up. I'm on a roll this week!

And one topic that I just blogged about:
-
Thought I'd share with everyone that I currently have a blog about security.
We are also working on a Malwarebytes blog and until then I will blog personally and host guest bloggers from the Malwarebytes team. Feel free to add it to your favorites or subscribe to this post and I'll post here when a new blog post comes out.
Some posts that are currently hot:

I just wanted to add how proud I am of our team, this release, and our diligent beta testers. I'm excited to get this shipped out to our users!

I've also posted a bit more information on my blog:
-
We are all truly saddened to bring you news that a valued member of our team, Matt Russo "aka SpySentinel" has passed away this past week. We have been in direct contact with Matt’s family and out of respect for the family’s privacy have refrained from posting publicly and providing more details until now. Matt was a fantastic employee, team member and an enthusiastic promoter of Malwarebytes and a key contributor to the Malware Removal community.
He will truly be missed by the entire Malwarebytes team and by you, our community. Your thoughtfulness and condolences are appreciated by the family as well as the entire Malwarebytes team. The family has also requested privacy during this period of grieving and we intend on honoring their wishes and the memory of Matt. We all appreciate your continued support and understanding during this difficult time.

James,
This may clear some things up. I understand that not all details are there, but we expect more soon.

It IS illegal -- we have prohibited in our EULA. Perhaps you should speak to legal at your company .

It came to our attention that a handful of our users were experiencing issues with the 14-day trial of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware PRO expiring early. To correct this issue, we released a new version of the product, version 1.51.1.
We want to give everyone an opportunity to experience the features that Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware PRO has to offer. As a result, just a few moments ago our team reset all expired trials so they are no longer expired.
If you had issues with the trial in the past, please download and run our mbam-clean utility, allow it to reboot (very important!), and then install version 1.51.1 and try it today!

Just like we keep the San Jose office a secret (and it has 20+ employees in it!), we are going to keep the European location a secret .
As for hpHosts -- we've already been working with Steven for quite a long time. The Malicious Website Blocking module is based off of a lot of his work.

My team is going to smack me for this, but 3-6 months. Closer to 3 . Beta likely much sooner.

"It's written for the .NET Framework"
That is not correct.

You are also welcome to private message me your comments so that I can answer any concerns.

This offer will expire Thursday, June 23rd. If you are interested in the offer, please take advantage of it before it disappears!

Not sure how cleverbridge works exactly, but it may be a region issue. They may only do PayPal for North America.
