Severe Problem

When I opened my laptop today I found myself in complete frustration as my computer would go unbearably slow (almost as if it was frozen) and I couldn't access the Task Manager since Ctrl+Alt+Del kept leading me to an error message. This seemed very strange as my computer was running fine while I was using it to about midnight yesterday. I did notice something strange as I do recall seeing something called (or similar to since I don;t know if I remember the name correctly) SystemSecurity using a rather large portion of my computer usage in Task Manager yesterday, yet I didn't think it was a problem since my laptop ran smoothly shortly after. That and unlike fake antiviruses I've encountered I hadn't faced any problems running any programs and nothing popped out asking me to buy any antivirus software or any "detections" of viruses.

I wondered if I had a virus and its a good thing I checked because apparently my laptop has become infected with a whopping total of 1,839 pieces of infected data that was detected in a quick scan. This really surprised me as I had not seen any indication that my laptop was infected at all and compared to several other fake antiviruses, the amount of infected items if far above whatever any of those programs ever achieved. Normally I would simply let Malwarebytes delete it all except the majority of the infected items are registry values and 1 registry key. Each of these values (or at least the majority since I haven't checked all the registry values) has the vendor Malware.Packer while the registry key has a vendor of Trojan.Fake Alert. I'm kind of worried what might happen if I delete these supposedly important values. I'm not very good with computers so I'm very sorry if asking whether or not to delete these items is embarrassingly foolish.

Also, I'm using the free version of Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware Database Version 8127. I'm currently using Safe Mode, which I also used to update the Malwarebytes to the latest version today. Besides Malwarebytes I also use the free version of Avira.

For now, given your concerns about removing them, go ahead and leave them for now and post your log from Malwarebytes Anti-Malware along with the other logs requested below in a new topic in the appropriate area (instructions below):

Thanks for answering so promptly and I'm sorry about posting this topic in the wrong place.

However, while I was trying to get the HijackThis scan my computer my computer (still in Safe Mode) suddenly decided to restart which left my incredibly frustrated and pleasantly surprised as apparently the Normal Mode wants to work now (although the computer didn't give me a choice, apparently the restart was considered normal). Of course this still doesn't help as I am on edge with that number of detected malware, but I just want to know if I should switch back to Safe Mode (I installed HijackThis in Normal Mode, is that okay?).

That's fine, normal mode is best when possible, but even if only Safe Mode is working, you can get the logs from there as well. In fact, sometimes Safe Mode is necessary to remove some threats (this too is something that your expert helper in the malware removal forum will guide you on).
