I keep getting pop ups from various spyware and my PC even restarted by itself. I have no idea what is going on. Any help would be much appreciated. Here is my log

Please run the following.

Update and Scan with Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware

  • Start MalwareBytes AntiMalware (Vista users must Right click and choose RunAs Admin)
  • Please DO NOT run MBAM in Safe Mode unless requested to, you MUST run it in normal Windows mode.
    • Update Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware
    • Select the Update tab
    • Click Update

    [*]When the update is complete, select the Scanner tab

    [*]Select Perform quick scan, then click Scan.

    [*]When the scan is complete, click OK, then Show Results to view the results.

    [*]Be sure that everything is checked, and click Remove Selected.

    [*]When completed, a log will open in Notepad. please copy and paste the log into your next reply

    • If you accidently close it, the log file is saved here and will be named like this:
    • C:\Documents and Settings\Username\Application Data\Malwarebytes\Malwarebytes' Anti-Malware\Logs\mbam-log-date (time).txt

Then RESTART the computer and AFTER the reboot run HJT Do a system scan and save a logfile

The post back NEW MBAM and HJT logs in that order please.

Okay, I did everything you instructed me to do. I also did a combofix scan, which deleted a lot of things from my registry, and I think they were infected. My PC is running a lot more smoothly now, but if there is any other problems just let me know. Here are the logs in order.

Please DO NOT run tools and other software unless requested while I'm assisting you with cleaning. This just makes my job harder having to second guess whats going on. Thanks.

Please disable Tea Timer

Disable Teatimer

First step:

  • Right-click the Spybot Icon in the System Tray (looks like a blue/white calendar with a padlock symbol)
  • If you have the new version 1.5, Click once on Resident Protection, then Right click the Spybot icon again and make sure Resident Protection is now Unchecked. The Spybot icon in the System tray should now be now colorless.
  • If you have Version 1.4, Click on Exit Spybot S&D Resident

Second step, For Either Version :

  • Open Spybot S&D
  • Click Mode, choose Advanced Mode
  • Go To the bottom of the Vertical Panel on the Left, Click Tools
  • then, also in left panel, click Resident shows a red/white shield.
  • If your firewall raises a question, say OK
  • In the Resident protection status frame, Uncheck the box labeled Resident "Tea-Timer"(Protection of over-all system settings) active
  • OK any prompts.
  • Use File, Exit to terminate Spybot
  • Reboot your machine for the changes to take effect.

Then update your Anti-Virus to the latest definitions and do a FULL SCAN and let me know if it finds anything or not.

Then update MBAM again and scan again and reply with new MBAM and HJT logs.

Okay I followed all your instructions my antivirus found 2 viruses, but i quarantined them and it's fine. I did a malwarebytes scan, but it was clean here are the logs. Let me know if I need to update anything or remove anything thanks.

Make sure you only have Java 6 build 11 in your Add/Remove any other versions need to be removed.

Also make sure you check and update your Adobe software as older versions were susceptible to attack from Malware just like older versions of Java.

I would also recommend that your uninstall the Viewpoint Services software.

Please run this tool.

Please download the following scanning tool. GMER

  • Open the zip file and copy the file
    gmer.exe
    to your Desktop.
  • Double click on
    gmer.exe
    and run it.

  • It may take a minute to load and become available.

  • Do not make any changes. As soon as it's done and the
    COPY
    button is available click on the
    COPY
    button.

  • DO NOT
    Click on the
    SCAN
    button.

  • This will place the scan in your clipboard. Paste that into notepad or into your next reply post please.

  • Click OK and quit the GMER program.

Then let me know how the computer is running now and if there are still any signs of an infection.

Thanks. - Oh... by the way I see you're running Peer2Peer Torrent software - just a note that many of the infected users get if from P2P software. There is a lot of stuff you can download with it, but now days there is so much infected files on purpose to trick people such as yourself into running it while in the background it installs their payload with the hopes that maybe they can trick someone into buying their bogus software. It's your machine and your decision but I'd suggest you quit using the software or be ever diligent about scanning everything all the time.
