Trouble connecting to malwarebytes.org on laptop

Hi,

I was about to purchase malwarebytes pro for my cousin via the website. However, I'm having trouble reaching the website. I keep getting the message "content encoding error"

I don't know what's happening cause the website works perfectly fine on my phone but for some reason it won't on my laptop. I am however, connected to the school Internet on my laptop. Could it be that the school is blocking me from accessing malwarebytes.org? Or could I possibly have a redirect virus?

Nevertheless, all other websites such as gmail, Facebook, avast.com are all working fine. I tried deleting my cookies just in case I have a corrupt one but malwarebytes.org still doesn't work.

Are you using Firefox? You could try to clear your cache, which seems to have helped other users who had a "content encoding error".

Tools --> Options --> Advanced --> Network, Clear Now

Hi mystery!

I tried that but it still doesn't work. The main page works and I'm able to purchase a malwarebytes license, but If I click anywhere else such as support I get "content encoding error" on Mozilla. I tried to load it on Internet explorer and I got "Internet explorer cannot display the webpage".

I've actually found a way around it lol If I do a google search for a topic I made on the forums, the forum works but if I try to access it from the main page it doesn't

Please close, turns out to be an issue with the school server. Tried the same process at home and at the office and it works perfectly fine. Thank you for all the help

It's not just your school server. I'm getting the same errors here at my own home. My ISP is HughesNet, a satellite-based provider. If it's not an issue on their end, then it's definitely something wrong with malwarebytes.org.
