mbr virus / PCMan can't save to usb disk

I have a laptop that has a corrupt MBR. The windows repair dvd cannot fix it. So I installed PCMan,

found sdb1 and typed in the command line. The response I get is "input/output error".

Ummm, tried another USB drive, didn't work. Formatted the USB drive (fat32) didn't work.

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Yes - my ssd wejust lost its os again . Basically I have and ssd that has list its os twice and when I go to reinstall windows I have to do a low level format (gpart)

I believe it is due to malware that I have been unable to find

I have tried several scanners and nothing is found

Please update MBAM, run a Quick Scan, and post its log.

Next, download DDS by sUBs and save it to your Desktop.

Double-click on the DDS icon and let the scan run. When it has run two logs will be produced, please post only DDS.txt directly into your reply.
